Placement
Hihii
I’m currently on my first work placement of my EPIC 5 month break from Ravensbourne.
My placement is 2 weeks at Hemingway Design, and I can definitely say, I am loving it! Lots of marketing, advertising, researching and generally doing what I love.
After a busy start to my first week last week, I already feel like i’ve learned lots… and brushed up on my HTML!!

wearing black today... what did i expect?!
reasons today could have gone better:
the ice/slush/rain that was my walk to uni
arriving absolutely saturated
not having my macbook so not being able to do the workshop properly
my best friend is poorly [get well soon]
i forgot money so couldn’t buy a cup of tea… this is bad times

ohhh i just spent 2 hours of my life learning (repeatedly) what these three words mean!! all in the name of the strange subject contextual studies… a year and a half on and i am still more than confused as to what this subject is!! all i know is there is a biiiiig essay at the end of it and then we move onto… dissertation!!!

i need to get a couple of weeks in a graphic design studio… today i plan to sort out my portfolio… should i put it on here? or on a different website?
hmm!
meanwhile, my cv is done, i have a big stack of style magazines to read and the whistling kettle is screaming at me… i love being home for christmas!

deceived by my own body… my first proper day off in ages and i’m not able to sleep!
maybe its a good thing, i’m up and ready to complete my never ending, always growing ‘to do’ list!
i feel a little lost without a deadline, but we have been set a christmas project, so that should keep me busy! that and searching for a work placement…
